Head Of State Abraham Lincoln was being in this shaking chair throughout a manufacturing of Our American Relative at Ford"s Theater in Washington, DC when he was executed on April 14, 1865. Henry Ford acquired the chair in 1929 for the Gallery, where it continues to be among one of the most adored things related to the "guy that conserved the Union."
